Welcome to the Moonlit Sahara– where knowledge illuminates the darkness of ignorance just as the full moon emblazons the achromatic sky. Embark with us on our journey, as we trail the vast seas of golden Arabian sand, with every grain of sand reflecting the infinite wisdom of Our Lord-Subhanahu wa ta’ala. As we trek the rocky mountains and traverse with ease through the cool desert nights, we endure struggles that confront every sincere student travelling the road to knowledge. It is this path we tread daily in search of our prescribed share of the Prophet’s inheritance, commuting from our hometown, Jeddah, to the sacred sanctity of Makkatul Mukarramah.

In The Moonlit Sahara, you can expect knowledge-rich posts, faith-boosting articles, and deen-essential lessons in areas of aqeedah, fiqh, and hadeeth. We hope to indulge ourselves in translating eloquent Arabic works, presenting scientific and psychological discoveries in the light of the Quran, and giving you tips on ‘must-haves’ in your library of books, audios, and videos. Also, The Moonlit Sahara is our key outlet for dawah and your open hub for any religious questions. We share the aim to progress in our Sahara journey together solely for the pleasure of Allah (SWT).

Assuming that you’re curious, we’re a teenage human and ninja duo, finding our way through the clashing waves of life, differentiating right from wrong, and dreaming towards a better future for ourselves and our Ummah. To us, Umm AlQura University in Makkah is the gate we’ve entered to fulfill this ambitious dream, and although the road is bumpy, we are willing to take every step towards it- even if that requires us to leave our comfortable Jeddah homes before dawn breaks, only to drag ourselves on a 2 hour commute to seek what we have long aspired for. It’s not the quantity of posts we provide you, it’s the quality of our message we ask you to analyze.
